Our firm commenced its activities in shipbuilding in 1989, with block front
manufacturing for the ships and block making in the Tuzla shipyards. Our firm
contributed to the development of many projects as a manufacturing company in
many of the shipyards belonging to the private sector and situated in Istanbul,
Tuzla, specifically in the making of containers, cargos and dry load vessels.
From 1998 on, our firm started to carry out some productions in the steel,
aluminum, composite area that add extras to its product range, namely the
modernizations of the fleets of petrol platform, towboat, pontoon, ferryboat,
tug boats, passenger boat, barges, ferries, sea scan pontoon, and sea busses.
Since 2004, our company has been carrying out repair, maintenance and
renovation works of cruise ships, sea buses, ferries, tug boats, work boats
service vessels such as the 103 vessels belong to the Istanbul Metropolitan
Municipality of Istanbul Sea Bus Corp. Turkey's leading companies, the Istanbul
Metropolitan Municipality (IBB), Istanbul Sea Bus Corp. (IDO), Turkey Maritime
Organization (TDI), Coastal Security, such as state agencies contract by taking
the repair, maintenance and new construction requirements have been served by
our company.
By closely following the today's technology as well as the innovations brought
by the international rules, our firm developed new projects and, in 2008,
received the building works of 3 passenger carriage vessels each with 600
passenger capacity, through a tender made by Istanbul Metropolitan
Municipality. Regarding the delivery of these vessels, all project design and
delivery of this vessel belongs to our company, the 1st ship had been delivered
in August 2009, 2nd ship had been delivered in September 2009 and 3rd ship had
been delivered in October 2009 and began to serve to the people of Istanbul.
In 2009, the result of tender by Turkey Maritime Organization (TDI), our
company received 3 pilot boats works. 1 7.3 meters pilot boats had been
designed by our company and completed structure of the pilot boat was delivered
successfully in 2010.
Our firm also carries out its activities in land sector as well. We have been
continuing to implement many projects in steel construction and metal
processing businesses area such as factory made, steel bridge, steel roof and
similar steel buildings' project design and realization.
Our firm established Atlas Engineering in Azerbaijan in 2008 and installed the
equipments and assemblies for steel processing, metal construction and ship
buildings, repairs furthermore we are providing services our costumers
engineering and design projects matter. For realizing various projects, CNS
plasma-cutting bench, CNS borvek and iron sheet press were installed and
enlarged their activity area. Our firm received the tunnel metal works of the
metro tunnel in Azerbaijan and continues its works in this scope.
Our company abroad and in our country activities in various fields, adhere to
environmental and occupational health and safety legislation and legally bound
all the organizations standards and maximum customer satisfaction and to
maintain the high quality, innovative, modern and international standards in
accordance with the steel, aluminum, and composite on the project and design
studies has been served to costumers.
